He was successfully shown as a youngster and has been

Ambassador has an excellent temperament which he passes
onto his foals, they make excellent riding animals and
outside of the show ring have gone on to compete in show
jumping, eventing and driving competitions.

‘Phantom’ joined us in 2005 direct from the Legend Stud
in Wiltshire, he is passing on his excellent temperament
and athletic qualities to his foals.
As he carries the cream double dilute gene, he will
guarantee a palomino foal with a chestnut mare and a
palomino/buckskin foal from a bay mare. Will also breed
these colours from other colour mares (e.g. has bred a
buckskin from a leopard spotted mare), depending on the
breeding of the mare. |
|
Monkey Puzzle (2002)
15.1hh, Black near Leopard Spotted, Registered
and Licensed with SHAPS. |
 |

Joined us as a yearling after we went shopping for a
spotted filly!
Has recently begun stud duties and has produced very
pretty spotted and solid colour foals from solid colour
mares.
He is passing on his excellent temperament, conformation
and paces to his foals. At
stud for the 2009 season |

Our foundation stallion,
bought from Buckswood Stud at 10months old. Only shown
once (was too busy looking at everything to concentrate
on showing!), but the sire and grandsire of many
excellent performance animals.
Retired from stud some years ago, but still full of
youth. We are lucky to have with us his first ever foal
and his last. |

Blaencanaid Indiana (2001)
By Blaencanaid Ambassador out of Jazzy Girl |
 |
‘Indi’ is
our most successful show mare, does equally well in
palomino and Welsh Part-Bred classes and has been a
champion many times at county level.
Included in her many wins and championships have been 3
wins and 2 reserve champions at the Royal Welsh,
Champion mare over 14.2hh at the National Palomino
Championships and Champion female at the Welsh Palomino
show.
Since starting to breed in 2007 she has been absent from
the show ring, though she did make an appearance at this

Blaencanaid Limited Edition
(2004) |
 |
‘Teddy’ was
an orphan foal at 1 day old after his dam sadly passed
away. A full brother to Blaencanaid Indiana (Blaencanaid
Ambassador/ Jazzy Girl)
We raised him on a bottle (a lot of hard work!).
He has had a successful career in the show ring mainly
in Palomino classes. He was Royal Welsh Palomino
Champion in 2006, and has many other championships to
his name. Was 2nd to his full sister at this year's
Royal Welsh.

Blaencanaid Diplomat (1996)

being sold to Mr N Powell of Twyncarmel Stud.
He continues to be successful in the show ring and in
recent years been broken to harness and exhibited in
driving classes.

Byrgwm Solitaire (1973 – 2005)
(Section D) |
 |
The dam of
many Section D champions including Blaencanaid
Ambassador, Blaencanaid Diplomat, Blaencanaid Orient
Express and Blaencanaid Buccaneer.
Bought from
Rhydycar Stud when she was 16, ‘Jean’ was a fantastic
mare for us, she bred 5 outstanding colt foals for us,
and had her last foal in 1997 and sadly passed away in
2005.
Unfortunately never bred us the filly we desperately
wanted. But her ‘boys’ have more than made up for it.

Jazzy Girl (1979 – 2004) |
|
A mare of unknown breeding that was permanently loaned
to us when she was 11 from a friend that moved to
Poland.
Bred her first foal at 13 and never looked back.
Produced some beautiful animals with out thoroughbred
Stallion (Barbados Boy) and our Black Sec D stallion (Buckswood
Idris).
But it was
not until we covered her with ‘Ambassador’ did we find
her match. Her first foal was Blaencanaid Indiana, next
she miscarried twin Palomino colts only 8 weeks from
foaling, and her last foal was Blaencanaid Limited
Edition. Unfortunately passed away in August 2004 when
‘Teddy’ was 1 day old.
She is greatly missed.

Chesil Lizzie (1987)
Section D |
 |
We bought
‘Lizzie’ as a foal in Abergavenny Market. She is only a
small mare but she produces huge foals. She has been our
most consistent producer for many years, with the
majority of her offspring going into performance.
In recent years we have covered her with our cremello
stallion to produce some beautiful palomino Part-Breds.
